Minimum Wage: Stay on Top of an Ever-Shifting Patchwork of State and Local Laws

The last time the US Congress passed a law to increase the federal minimum wage was 10 years ago. The federal minimum wage was raised in three stages: from $5.15 to $5.85 in 2007, to $6.55 in 2008, and finally to $7.25 in 2009. And it has remained at $7.25 ever since.
